Outpatient Therapy

JOB SUMMARY

Work with individuals and/or groups to promote optimum mental health. May help individuals deal with mental illness, addictions, and substance abuse; family, parenting, and marital problems; suicide; stress management; other problems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a master's degree from an accredited college or university in social or behavioral sciences. Must have a current Michigan license and be in good standing with their credentialing board. Must uphold the Code of Ethics of their professional licensing entity. Must complete the minimum hours of continuing education to maintain a professional license. Must maintain good standing with the professional licensing board.
