Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION & OVERVIEW
Our multi-specialty practice is eager to add a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC or equivalent) to our outpatient treatment team. Candidates can expect to provide individual counseling/psychotherapy across the spectrum of mental health disorders, while having the option to provide group treatments, and enjoy the consultation of a specialized treatment team. Both individual and group supervision is provided. An ideal candidate for this position is someone that is looking to further their career in clinical practice, while honing their skills within a multi-disciplinary team. LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide psychotherapy and mental health counseling to individuals, including children and families (within scope of interest) Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Develop treatment plans tailored to each patient. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care. Utilize routine testing and telehealth services as needed to support patient progress.

WHY PRIVATE PRACTICE?
As compared to the cooperate group practices and medical systems, our small outpatient private practice allows clinicians to focus on their primary interest - patient care, without the burdens of bureaucratic red tape, micromanagement, or hidden expectations. Clinical staff at this practice enjoy greater decision-making autonomy, choice of clientele, freedom to tailor treatment plans, and encouragement to develop their clinical specialties. Treatment providers enjoy the flexibility of setting their work schedules within our private practice structure, are never asked to take on-call hours, and over time, may elect for a mix of in-person, and online sessions.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & LICENSURE A
master's degree in counseling or an equivalent mental health profession and commensurate licensure in the State of Michigan (LPC, LLP, LMFT, LMWS-C) is mandatory for the position. Doctorate holders will enjoy greater compensation and have access to greater responsibilities over time, should that be desirable. While independent licensure is strongly preferred, candidates seeking post-degree supervision and training, who are an excellent long-term fit for the practice, will also be considered.
COMPENSATION STRUCTURE & BENEFITS
Candidates will receive competitive hourly pay ranging from $65- $85, based on degree, skills, experience, and hours worked. This is roughly $$81,250 - $106,250 per year, based on a 50-week, 25 weekly clinical hour schedule.
