Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor - Evening Group Counselor

Signing Bonus:

$5000. (1/2 and 90 days, 1/2 at 1 year) Do you love helping others? If so, we want to talk to you! Lakeview Behavioral Health provides services for individuals in need of behavioral health care. Our goal is to treat the whole person and meet each individual's needs based on their unique situation. We provide psychiatric mental health, substance use, and co-occurring services in Minnesota from our four locations. We are looking to hire a Minnesota-licensed LADC to provide 245G-compliant clinical services to adults in person for evening groups and individual sessions at our Brainerd location. Duties of this position include, but are not limited to: Group therapy Individual therapy Individualized treatment plans Treatment coordination Comprehensive assessments Intakes Continuum of care Other responsibilities include maintaining 245G-compliant documentation and providing client-centered services to ensure clinical service compliance, positive outcomes, and client safety. Candidates will also participate in marketing opportunities and represent the agency positively in the community and to referral sources.

Qualifications:

Previous experience with community-based programming and co-occurring disorders Proficient in the 12 core functions of alcohol and drug counseling Strong conflict resolution skills Licensed as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) by the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy Completed 12 contact hours in co-occurring disorders Free of substance use problems for at least two (2) years immediately preceding hire, with a signed attestation Must successfully pass a

DHS Background Study Preferred Experience:

At least two years' experience providing alcohol and drug counseling services to individuals with co-occurring disorders Current CPR certification

Schedule:

Full-time, 40 hours per week

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday:

1:30 PM - 9:30 PM (Group days)

Wednesday, Friday:

8:00 AM - 4:30
