Job Description
Are you passionate about working with adults with mental illness or addiction? Refractions Intenvise Residential Treatment Center seeks an on-call/fill-in Mental Health Practitioner. The successful candidate will have experience working with individuals who suffer from various mental health disorders, including psychoses , cognitive impairments, and or addiction. This is for a flexible on-call/ fill-in position. I am seeking coverage for all shifts, and hours may vary.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate daily group education and chart. Obtain patient histories from case managers and other professionals. Daily shift notes Confer with patients to understand their needs and monitor progress; Relay information to case managers. Attend the mandatory weekly meetings Other tasks are assigned by the house manager or the treatment team.Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a mental health setting.
- Knowledge of various therapeutic techniques and interventions is helpful
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
