Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) to provide person-centered, trauma-informed substance use disorder treatment within our Minnesota 245G-licensed program. This role focuses on treatment planning, counseling, and care coordination for individuals with substance use disorders. Responsibilities Facilitate individual and group counseling services Conduct individual treatment sessions with clients on a regular basis Develop and update individualized treatment plans using a strengths-based, person-centered approach Provide evidence-based treatment interventions consistent with 245G standards Collaborate with community providers to support continuity of care Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with 245G, HIPAA, and billing requirements Participate in clinical supervision, case consultation, and quality improvement activities Maintain professional relationships, including healthy boundaries with staff and clients
Qualifications Required:
Current Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) license in the State of Minnesota Meets 245G counselor qualification and supervision requirements Experience in substance use disorder or behavioral health treatment Demonstrate understanding of 245G licensing, documentation, and service delivery requirements Strong documentation, assessment, and communication skills Why Join Us At New Freedom Inc., we provide compassionate, person-centered care for individuals with substance use disorders, including those who may have coexisting mental health challenges.
