Through a variety of multidisciplinary services that clients can choose from including medication management, therapy, group therapy, health and wellness support, employment services and transportation support, clients can develop skills, access resources and learn ways to manage their emotional and physical health. What You'll Do Maintain and interact with a caseload of clients with diverse characteristics either in-person or over the phone. Conduct high quality clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in a timely manner. Identify and provide clinical interventions and referrals for clients based on their needs. Empower clients to develop and nurture the knowledge, skills, and support systems crucial to promoting optimal functioning in the community. Continually assess clients for lack of progress, progress, or emergent needs and address those needs clinically. Conduct individual, group education, and group therapies for clients in our Substance Use Disorder program. Engage difficult-to-serve clients by investigating all potential resources in order to gain access and make connections. Collect and maintain information about clients and document interactions within ReDiscover's designated electronic medical record. Communicate and collaborate with an internal multi-disciplinary team to address various aspects of wellness and ensure positive communication regarding the coordination of client care. Requirements of the Position Bachelor's Degree in a Social Science field (as defined by the Department of Mental Health). Certified or registered as a Substance Use Disorder Professional by the Missouri Credentialing Board. Appropriate certifications include CADC, CRADC, CRAADC and other Counseling Credentials defined by the Missouri Credentialing Board. Active Professional Counselor license (LPC) or Provisional Counselor license (PLPC) through the state of Missouri or a Master Social Worker license (LMSW) with registered supervisor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is preferred. Two (2) years of experience in direct service provision in a mental health setting. Working knowledge of mental illness and substance use disorders. Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus. Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as the use of email.
