Full-Time, Hourly This position is 30 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with two evenings required . Description:
The person in this position will provide assessment and treatment services to Synergy Service's clients and their families in the Domestic Violence Housing Program. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. CLINICAL
Provides direct clinical counseling services 20-25 hours per week for a full time therapist. (Note:
Clinical service hours are prorated if a part time therapist.) The direct clinical counseling services include assessment (initial assessment, testing, or other assessment) and treatment (includes therapy with children, teens, adults and groups). CASE MANAGEMENT
Provides treatment planning, therapeutic case management, and follow-up of cases. Case management includes networking with substance abuse and mental health agencies and the Children's Division of the State of Missouri, coordinating services, representing the Agency at legal proceedings, responding to subpoenas, writing reports and making referrals for additional or different services. Maintains clinical portions of client files according to Agency documentation standards. SUPERVISION AND TRAINING
Participates in weekly peer supervision group and individual supervision of cases as needed. Participates in professional development and training such as attending continuing education workshops. Works toward credentialing or licensure as appropriate. PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT AND CLINICAL LEADERSHIP
(3-5 hours per week if FT): Participates in program planning and problem solving, facilitates team building and staff development, actively participates in program team meetings, and participates in the on-call rotation which includes clinical and case management responsibilities as prescribed by the program. Participation in Performance and Quality Improvement activity is required by each employee. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job may include an assignment of clinical supervisory responsibilities of practicum students, interns, or other employed therapists seeking licensure. The employee is expected to assist other employees by sharing experience, expertise and training. Clinical and administrative decision-making are included in te supervisory responsibilities when employee is serving in the on-call rotation. QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, marital and family, art therapy, or other applied behavior science degree and a provisional license or full license in the State of Missouri. LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, marital and family, art therapy, or other applied behavior science degree. Provisional license or full licensed in the State of Missouri. Must have a Valid Drivers (class E) license. Must complete and maintain certification in CPR, First Aid Met Tech, and Safe Crisis training. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
The employee must have the ability to use general office equipment and computer software, including Windows, Word for Windows, Outlook, and MS Access. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
