Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis Implement crisis management strategies and crisis intervention techniques to support patients experiencing acute mental health episodes or trauma-related issues Facilitate specialized counseling services including grief counseling, addiction counseling, PTSD care, gender issues counseling, and behavioral therapy for individuals with autism or disabilities Maintain detailed medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations while utilizing medical terminology effectively for accurate record-keeping Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on case management, patient care plans, and research initiatives to optimize treatment outcomes Provide telehealth services to expand access to care while adhering to clinical standards and confidentiality protocols Requirements Valid licensure as a Licensed Therapist (e.g., Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist) Demonstrated experience in psychotherapy, clinical counseling, social work or related fields with a focus on mental health treatment Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, medical terminology, and electronic medical records systems Experience working with children, adolescents, adults or geriatrics across outpatient or inpatient settings; familiarity with pediatrics and special education is preferred Strong skills in patient assessment, diagnostic evaluation, behavior management, and case management strategies Telehealth experience is highly desirable; ability to adapt clinical skills for virtual platforms while maintaining high-quality patient care Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to working with individuals with diverse backgrounds including those with developmental disabilities or chronic pain conditions Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA standards in all aspects of patient care Embark on a rewarding career where your expertise fuels positive change.
