Job Description

```Duties```
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to gather data on clients' mental health and behavioral issues
  • Provide clinical counseling and therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral health concerns, or mental health disorders
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and behavioral therapy techniques to support clients' progress
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as special education teachers or pediatricians, to coordinate care and ensure holistic treatment
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting progress and treatment outcomes
  • Stay updated on current research and best practices in the field of mental health counseling ```Qualifications```
  • Must hold a valid license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of [State]
  • Master's degree in Counseling or related field
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health concerns is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and evidence-based practices
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to counseling
