This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed behavioral health professional who is passionate about helping individuals overcome substance use and mental health challenges in a supportive detox and recovery setting. We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment, provide high-quality clinical care, and want to make a meaningful impact every day. Preferred Credentials Candidates must hold a Master's Degree and possess or be working toward one of the following North Carolina licenses:

LCSWA / LCSW LCMHCA / LCMHC LMFTA / LMFT LCASA / LCAS

preferred Key Responsibilities Assess behavioral, emotional, cognitive, spiritual, and social needs of clients and families Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and monitor individualized treatment goals Provide individual counseling, family sessions, therapeutic groups, and discharge planning support Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record Support utilization review processes and authorization requests Participate in aftercare planning and continuity of care coordination Assist with program curriculum development, staff training, and clinical best practices Provide crisis intervention and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment Participate in on-call rotation as assigned Complete required trainings and other duties as needed Qualifications Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Chemical Dependency, or related field Active North Carolina clinical license or associate-level license required Experience in substance use treatment, trauma-informed care, detox, or mental health settings preferred Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and effective during crisis situations Knowledge of state regulations, accreditation standards, and compliance expectations Why Join Freedom Detox?
