  • Provide counseling services to individuals, families, and groups
  • Conduct assessments to determine clients' needs and develop treatment plans
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including motivational interviewing and crisis management
  • Assist clients in developing coping skills and strategies for managing mental health issues
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
  • Provide education and support to clients' families regarding mental health issues and treatment options ```Requirements```
  • Master's degree in counseling or related field
  • Licensure or certification as a counselor (e.g., LPC, LMHC)
  • Experience working with individuals with special education needs, developmental disabilities, or PTSD is preferred
  • Knowledge of working with people with developmental disabilities is a plus
  • Strong understanding of mental health counseling principles and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in medical documentation and patient care
