Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate
LCAS/CADC
(Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist/Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in addiction counseling and behavioral health, with the ability to provide support and guidance to individuals facing substance use challenges. This role involves working closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans, facilitate therapy sessions, and promote recovery in a supportive environment. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plans and person centered plans. Provide addiction counseling utilizing evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions, focusing on recovery strategies and coping mechanisms. Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for clients, including referrals for additional services as needed. Stay informed about the latest research and developments in addiction medicine and behavioral health. Offer support for clients dealing with PTSD and other co-occurring disorders. Engage in community outreach efforts to promote awareness of addiction issues and available resources. Skills Strong knowledge of addiction counseling methodologies and practices. Proficiency in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques. Experience in social work or related fields is preferred. Familiarity with behavioral health principles and practices. Ability to conduct research related to addiction treatment and recovery. Understanding of home community care approaches for individuals in recovery. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality. Compassionate approach towards clients dealing with substance use disorders, including those who may inhale substances.
