Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Mental Health Counselor to provide counseling and therapeutic services to individuals experiencing emotional, psychological, behavioral, or mental health challenges. The Mental Health Counselor will assess client needs, develop treatment plans, provide counseling sessions, and support clients in achieving their mental wellness goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Provide individual, family, and group counseling sessions. Maintain accurate and confidential client records and documentation. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Collaborate with healthcare providers, social workers, and other professionals involved in client care. Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies. Educate clients and families about mental health conditions and coping strategies. Ensure compliance with ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and applicable regulations. Participate in case reviews, staff meetings, and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Mental Health Counselor. Strong knowledge of counseling techniques, mental health disorders, and treatment modalities. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries. Experience in mental health counseling preferred.

Active listening and empathy. Crisis management and intervention. Case management and documentation. Treatment planning and evaluation. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Pay:
$29.00 - $35.00 per hour
