Full-Time | Exempt ~Helping Adolescents Rebuild Their Lives~ Eckert Youth Homes is seeking a compassionate and dedicated licensed mental health counselor to join our residential treatment team serving adolescents with mental health and substance use challenges. About Eckert Youth Homes Eckert Youth Homes is a nonprofit residential treatment program located in Williston, North Dakota. We provide a structured, trauma-informed environment where adolescents receive individualized treatment and support while working toward recovery, stability, and long-term success. Unlike many outpatient settings, our clinicians have the opportunity to work closely with youth throughout their treatment journey and witness meaningful progress over time. What You'll Do Conduct mental health assessments, establish diagnoses, and formulate clinical recommendations Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable treatment goals Provide individual, group, and family therapy services Complete intake assessments and participate in the admissions process Coordinate care with families, schools, medical providers, probation officers, and other community partners Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and case reviews Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation Assist with discharge planning, transition services, and aftercare referrals Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, and clinical consultation as needed Participate in a limited on-call rotation
What We're Looking For Required:
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field Current North Dakota licensure as one of the following: LMSW, LCSW, LPCC, or a Licensed Psychologist Valid driver's license Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills Preferred:
Experience working with adolescents Experience in residential treatment, behavioral health, or substance use treatment Knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based treatment approaches Why Join Eckert Youth Homes? Competitive salary:
