NFI North is seeking Direct Care Counselors for 2nd shift positions, Wednesday - Saturday shift and Sunday - Wednesday shift at our 16-bed adult program that is located at the Philbrook Adult Transitional Housing site in Concord NH. This program is a residential treatment and day program with a progressive reputation of providing comprehensive clinical, vocational services and life skills for adults living with mental illness that are seeking independent living. Many of our participants get apartments and go to college with the support of our amazing staff team.
Responsibilities:
Supervise the daily activities of participants, providing ongoing support, guidance and role modeling. Facilitate participant improvement in the areas of personal responsibility, social skills, medication monitoring and administration, community living skills and behavior. Also assist in facilitating groups and providing transportation to medical appointments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and/or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with participant population.
