Primary Therapist

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Clinician to join our team at Nirvana Recovery Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health, clinical counseling, and addiction counseling.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions for PHP, IOP and OP services
• Assist in developing aspects of treatment plans and treatment plan updates in collaboration with other treatment team members and clients.
• Provide and document pertinent patient information based on evaluation, and group and individual session interactions, to assist in the patient treatment process.
• Document provided services in progress notes in a clear, concise, timely manner.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provides input regarding patients' needs and requirements.
• Demonstrate expertise in substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and associated co-morbidities.
• Coordinating with referral sources and providing case consultation with referents

Requirements:

• At least two (2) years of relevant experience in SUD / mental health or social work, with three (3) years preferred in a specialized setting.
• Certification in substance abuse counseling (e.

LCADC, LSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, LMFT

)

• Experience with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
• Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) preferred
