Job Description
Position Summary Provides clinical services and therapy for adolescents and their families impacted by behavioral health and substance use disorders. Primary Position Responsibilities Provides behavioral health and substance misuse clinical services for adolescents and their families. Maintains compliance with all standards of JCAHO, DOH, regulatory agencies, and specialty recommendations. Maintains Patient Safety. Documentation of Care. Professional Development.
Qualifications Minimum Education:
Required:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):Required:
One year's experience in the provision of mental health services to youth.Preferred:
Counseling in mental health and substance misuse with adolescents and familiesLicense, Registry or Certification :
Required:
License eligible in Mental Health Field by the State of New Jersey.Preferred:
NJ License LAC orLSW, CPR
Certification Knowledge, Skills and/orAbilities :
Required:
Clinical training in family systems. Ability to work with impaired adolescents. Must have the ability to facilitate groups. Experience in Crisis Intervention. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to organize and prioritize, works effectively in stressful situations Clinician demonstrates knowledge of evidenced based practices in the provision of care included but not limited to: Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Universal Screening for SUD.Preferred:
