Job Description

Provides clinical assessment, counseling, and psychotherapeutic services to individuals, families, and groups. Conducts evaluations, including mental status examinations and psychosocial histories, to diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans using accepted diagnostic classifications (e.g., DSM). Delivers ongoing clinical social work and/or psychotherapeutic counseling to address mental health symptoms, psychosocial stressors, and relationship challenges. Engages in clinical consultation through case discussions, treatment planning, and client-centered advocacy, collaborating with relevant individuals and entities to support therapeutic goals. All services are completed under the supervision of a qualified supervisor in compliance with New Jersey Administrative Code Title 13, Chapters 34, 34C, and 44G. Maintains contact with referring agencies and related people, and with community resources used for referral. Maintains treatment records completing documentation in a timely manner. The individual demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the consumer population served. He or she must be able to assess and interpret data about this consumer's status in order to identify each consumer's needs and provide the appropriate care, including age-related care, needed by the consumer group.
Hours:
Full time, some evening hours required. This is a 40 hour full time benefitted position which includes some evenings required: Free Supervision provided towards licensure Free CEU training opportunities, paid training days 3.2 weeks of PTO in first year Medical, vision, dental & life insurance benefits 403(b) employee participation and employer match 9 Agency-paid holidays

Education, Skills, & Experience:
Master's degree from an accredited school of social work or counseling or doctorate in counseling with at least one year of experience. Required licensure as an

in the state of New Jersey in good standing. Must have the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and writing. Needs to be computer literate and be proficient in using agency's Electronic Medical Record, and applicable software required for job, including but not limited to Email, Internet, Fax. Copier. Employee must possess a valid driver's license and if duties require driving be able to drive agency vehicle. Must be able to professionally handle stressful situations.
