The Role We are seeking a Full-Time Outpatient Primary Therapist to join our Lighthouse Outpatient team in Mays Landing, NJ. In this role, you'll plan, direct, and coordinate clinically approved treatment programs while empowering clients and families through evidence-based, person-centered practices. You'll work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your expertise directly impacts patient recovery and long-term success. What You'll Do Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health, substance use, and readiness for treatment Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions Educate clients and families on addiction, recovery, and coping strategies Identify behaviors and barriers that interfere with recovery Collaborate with families and recommend appropriate treatment options Refer clients to community resources, support groups, and vocational services Participate in outreach programs to promote addiction awareness and prevention Provide oversight of assigned census and support site census and budgetary goals What We're Looking For Education & Licensure Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling (required) Licensure required: LAC, LSW, LPC, or LCSW Experience & Skills 1-3 years of experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment Strong knowledge of individual, group, and family counseling Experience facilitating psychoeducational groups Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse populations Commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics Why RCA?
