The Senior Group Counselor provides activities and leisure assessment and group counseling services to assigned caseload of patients. In addition, the Senior Group Counselor coordinates the distribution of caseloads on each unit. Monitors quality provision of treatment services on the unit as requested. Functions as the primary Group Counselor between the unit with the responsibility for communicating information accurately, assertively, and in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field. 2. Minimum 2 years relevant work experience in a healthcare setting. 3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 4. Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
