Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, dynamic, and clinically skilled Group Facilitator to join our growing behavioral health team. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate recovery and mental health treatment through engaging, evidence-based group facilitation and collaborative care. The Group Facilitator is responsible for planning, guiding, and managing therapeutic groups to ensure treatment objectives are met effectively for clients across multiple levels of care (Partial Care, Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient) in substance use and mental health outpatient programs. This position plays a vital role in fostering meaningful client engagement, promoting behavioral change, and supporting clients throughout all stages of treatment. Primary Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Facilitate therapeutic groups and family sessions that support clients in establishing goals and identifying practical strategies for achieving them. Provide group therapy services across all levels of care, as needed. Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation in Kipu, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and daily log requirements. Participate in weekly treatment team meetings to support continuity and quality of client care. Consult daily with the Clinical Director regarding client needs, special incidents, transfers, and treatment updates. Attend staff development meetings, clinical trainings, and agency-wide staff meetings. Participate in supervision and consultation with the clinical management team as required. Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment team members to ensure effective delivery of comprehensive clinical services. Comply with all local, state, and federal confidentiality laws and regulations. Coordinate and communicate effectively with professionals both within and outside the organization when appropriate. Demonstrate cultural sensitivity, professionalism, and responsiveness in all client and staff interactions. Uphold the values, mission, and code of ethics of the agency. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field required. Current New Jersey licensure is preferred: LCSW, LMFT, or LPC (independent licensure), OR LSW, MFTI, or LAC working toward independent licensure. CADC or Temporary CADC required. Comfortable managing group dynamics and facilitating meaningful therapeutic discussions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate behavioral change. Ability to communicate professionally through email, phone, and text. Computer proficiency required, including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel; Kipu experience preferred.
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
