We specialize in supporting children and youth with Autism and other behavioral concerns, fostering growth and development through evidence-based interventions. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities. As an ABA Counselor, you will implement individualized treatment plans, collect data to monitor progress, and provide patient-centered care to promote positive behavioral outcomes. Duties Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions tailored to each client's needs using applied behavior analysis techniques. Conduct assessments and participate in diagnostic evaluations to inform treatment planning. Collect, record, and analyze data accurately to track client progress and adjust interventions accordingly. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special education professionals and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care. Support clients during therapy sessions, promoting skill development in communication, socialization, and daily living activities. Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Assist with intake procedures, initial assessments, and ongoing patient evaluations to optimize treatment effectiveness. Requirements Proven experience in behavioral therapy, particularly applied behavior analysis (ABA), working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and medical documentation standards. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information. Strong skills in data collection, patient assessment, and diagnostic evaluation processes. Experience working within special education settings or behavioral health environments is highly preferred. Excellent communication skills combined with patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support clients' growth. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a client-focused approach.
