Licensed Clinical Social Worker LPC Master's degree Social Work Group counseling Group therapy instruction Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and engaging Part-Time Group Facilitator to join our dual-diagnosis PHP/IOP treatment program in New Jersey. This position is responsible for facilitating therapeutic and psychoeducational groups for clients struggling with both substance use disorders (SUD) and co-occurring mental health conditions. The ideal candidate is passionate about behavioral health, understands the complexities of dual-diagnosis treatment, and can foster a safe and supportive group environment that promotes recovery, emotional wellness, and client engagement. Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field. Active licensure in New Jersey is strongly preferred.

Compensation:

$120.00 per 90-minute group session (inclusive of documentation) Responsibilities Facilitate structured therapeutic and psychoeducational groups for adult clients in PHP and IOP levels of care Work with clients experiencing both substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions Create a safe, professional, and recovery-focused treatment environment Encourage participation, emotional processing, accountability, and healthy coping skills during groups Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation following each session Collaborate with the clinical team regarding client progress, concerns, and treatment planning Maintain professional boundaries and uphold confidentiality standards Utilize evidence-based interventions and group facilitation techniques Support the overall client experience and therapeutic community culture Qualifications Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field required Active NJ licensure preferred (LAC, LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, LAMFT, LCADC) Experience working in substance abuse treatment, mental health, or dual-diagnosis treatment settings preferred Prior experience facilitating groups in PHP, IOP, residential, or detox settings is highly preferred Strong understanding of co-occurring disorders, relapse prevention, and group dynamics Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills Ability to engage clients from diverse backgrounds with empathy and professionalism Schedule Part-Time Position Groups are offered between 9:00am - 12:00pm and 12:30pm - 3:30pm, M-F Daytime and evening groups may be available depending on program needs
