Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic SUD/MH Therapist to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health and substance use disorder treatment services to diverse adult populations. Your expertise will help clients navigate their recovery journeys through evidence-based therapies, crisis intervention, and personalized care plans. Duties Conduct thorough clinical assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and intake interviews to determine client needs and develop tailored treatment plans. Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Provide crisis intervention and management for clients experiencing mental health or substance use emergencies, ensuring safety and stabilization. Implement evidence-based addiction counseling techniques and support clients through recovery processes with case management and relapse prevention strategies. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and medical records in compliance with 42 CFR Part 2/HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment approaches as needed. Stay current with research developments in behavioral health, PTSD care, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and other relevant medical terminology to ensure best practices. Experience Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field; licensure or certification as required by state law for clinical practice. Proven experience in behavioral health settings providing individual and group therapy for mental health and substance use disorders. Familiarity with crisis management protocols, hospital-based care environments, home & community care programs, and addiction medicine is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of diagnostic evaluation tools such as ICD coding systems (ICD-9/10) and CPT coding for documentation purposes. Experience working with diverse populations including families; familiarity with trauma-informed care approaches is a plus. Pay:
$58,827.93 - $70,846.54 per year
