Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic Therapist to join our dedicated mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide evidence-based psychotherapy and counseling services to diverse populations, including adults, and seniors. Your expertise will help individuals navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve personal growth. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to accurately identify mental health conditions.
Deliver individual therapy sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure patient safety during emergencies.
Provide specialized counseling for issues including addiction, grief, PTSD care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Maintain detailed medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations; ensure accuracy in medical terminology and coding for billing purposes such as CPT coding.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management plans; coordinate care for patients across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to deliver remote therapy sessions while adhering to confidentiality standards.
Engage in clinical research activities when applicable; contribute to data collection efforts that support ongoing program development. Experience
Proven experience providing psychotherapy or clinical counseling in outpatient or inpatient settings.
Demonstrated expertise in behavioral health interventions including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, or applied behavior analysis (ABA).Experience conducting intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations for diverse populations.
Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and crisis management procedures; ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively.
Additional skills include social work practices, patient care coordination, and behavior management strategies.
