$60,000.00-95,000.00 per year Company Overview Permian Basin Counseling & Guidance (PBCG), a DBA of West Texas Counseling & Guidance, offers hope & healing to the rural Permian Basin communities of Southeastern New Mexico, including Carlsbad, Hobbs, Jal and Artesia. PBCG's mission is to enable individuals and families to reach their full potential in body, mind, and spirit, using evidence-based counseling and educational services. Services offered by Permian Basin Counseling & Guidance include individual therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma, premarital counseling, couples and family counseling, veteran services, children's play therapy, and anger management. Position Overview We are seeking a licensed clinician (LCSW, LMSW, LPCC, LMHC, LMFT, or LCP) to join our team of dedicated mental health professionals. As a Licensed Clinician, you will provide individual and group counseling services to clients of diverse backgrounds and ages, and will assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans that address clients' unique needs. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client's goals and challenges. Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy services. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards. Participate in staff and case consultation meetings. Stay current with best practices, research, and evidence-based interventions in the field of mental health. Actively engage in ongoing professional development and pursue relevant training opportunities. Advocate for clients' rights and access to mental health services within the community. Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that fosters professional growth and collaboration. Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Counseling (M.A. or M.S.), or Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) from an accredited program. Current and valid LCSW, LMSW, LPCC, LMHC, LMFT, or LCP licensure in the State of New Mexico. Strong commitment to ethical and culturally competent mental health practice. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required. Physical Demands & Work Environment Work is primarily performed in an office or telehealth setting with occasional community outreach. Requires the ability to sit, stand, and use standard office equipment for extended periods. May occasionally lift up to 20 pounds. Approximately 5-10% travel to surrounding areas; frequency varies based on clinical supervision, community events, and organizational priorities. Salary and Benefits Competitive salary range of $60,000 - $95,000, commensurate with experience and licensure. After Medicaid and insurance paneling, clinicians are paid on productivity, which allows for greater flexibility in scheduling and greater pay range.
