Position Overview:
Licensed Clinical Counselor (LPCC / LMHC/ LMSW) The Licensed Clinical Counselor (LPCC or LMHC) provides professional mental health counseling services to individuals, families, and groups. This role involves clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention for clients experiencing emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges. The counselor practices independently within the scope of their state licensure and in accordance with all applicable ethical, legal, and professional standards. The Licensed Clinical Counselor collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, maintains accurate clinical documentation, and supports clients in improving emotional well-being, strengthening coping skills, and achieving personal and therapeutic goals.

Licensed Clinical Counselor (LPCC / LMHC/LMSW)Key Responsibilities Provide individual, family, and group counseling using evidence-based therapeutic approaches Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and mental health evaluations Diagnose mental health disorders in accordance with
DSM-5-TR
criteria, as permitted by licensure Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans Monitor client progress and adjust interventions based on clinical need Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards Provide crisis intervention, risk assessments, and safety planning when indicated Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, case managers, and other professionals to coordinate client care Educate clients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources Adhere to ethical standards and professional guidelines established by state licensing boards and professional associations Participate in clinical supervision, consultation, continuing education, and professional development Required Qualifications Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field Active, unrestricted state licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) Eligibility for independent clinical practice under state law Training and experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed approaches) Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation abilities Preferred Qualifications Experience working with diverse populations and presenting concerns Specialized training or certification (e.g., trauma-informed care, substance use disorders, couples/family therapy) Experience in outpatient, community mental health, or private practice settings Bilingual or multilingual skills Work Environment & Schedule Flexible scheduling may include evenings or weekend
