units and linking patients to treatment or transporting patients. These duties require helping clients with social, emotional, and related difficul- ties to better manage their behavioral health disorders.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EITHER A.Graduation from an accredited college or university with at least a Master's degree in Social Work and must be licensed as a Li- censed Master Social Worker (LMSW) at time of appointment; OR, B.Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and must be licensed as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) at time of appointment.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

•Must be licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) within four (4) years of appointment if in possession of a LMSW •Possession of a valid New York State driver's license. Please submit a resume and copies of certifications with this application.

The HELP Program is a temporary program designed to help local government employers address current staffing issues. Traditionally, the titles filled under the HELP Program required job candidates to compete in a competitive exam to be considered for employment. For the duration of the program, this title will be classified as non-competitive and categorized as a "HELP Program" position. At the close of the program, this position will revert to competitive class status. Employees occupying positions filled through the HELP Program will be granted competitive class status without the need to participate in a competitive exam.
