Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related behavioral health field. Current NYS licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAT, or equivalent) required. Limited permit holders may be considered with appropriate supervision. Demonstrated experience in crisis assessment, intervention, and stabilization in mental health and/or substance use settings. Knowledge of CCBHC standards, NYS crisis intervention guidelines, and evidence-based crisis practices. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and across systems (law enforcement, emergency departments, schools, community providers). Flexibility to adjust to changing on-call schedules based on program and client needs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual proficiency preferred but not required. Work Conditions Crisis response may occur in clinic, home, community, or telehealth settings. On-call availability required, with schedule adjustments based on demand for crisis services.
