Hempstead, NY |
Schedule:
Full time 35/hours,(Mon-Fri) evening and weekend hours, as needed. |

Salary Range:
$32.07-34.07/hour The Opportunity The Bilingual Clinician provides direct individual, family, and group treatment services in the office or community for individuals engaging with Family & Children's Association CCBHC for behavioral health concerns. This position focuses on the Empowerment Through Wellness to Prevent Gun Violence Initiative, delivering youth-focused prevention and community intervention programming. The goal is to support community-based violence intervention programs as an effective solution to combat gun violence and reduce firearm-related deaths. Responsibilities Provide individual, family and group therapy sessions, as well as any other prescribed treatment service in accordance with agency and regulatory standards. Maintain required productivity levels and manage an assigned caseload effectively. Conduct initial intake and comprehensive assessments. Develop, implement and regularly monitor client treatment plans; collaborate with clinical team on treatment recommendations. Collaborate with external service providers to support client progress and continuity of care. Communicate regularly with courts, probation, parole, and other relevant external agencies to support client outcomes. Actively participate as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, including attending case conferences, team meetings, and in-service trainings. Complete and maintain accurate, up-to-date client case records in compliance with agency policies and other regulatory requirements. Prepare and submit all required reports, correspondence, and documentation in a timely manner, in line with agency, program, and regulatory deadlines. Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, OASAS, and OMH regulations. Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related field.
QHP credential required:
LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LCAT
; will consider candidates eligible for limited permit to be obtained within 90 days of hire. Minimum of 1 year experience providing individual and group counseling to substance abuse or mental health population either working in a chemical dependency or mental health program (may include internship). Bilingual in Spanish and English speaking required. Compensation The competitive compensation range is reflected with FCA's framework, culture, and values.
