IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR
ARDC Supervisor
POSITION SUMMARY
Assists individuals with identifying and modifying challenging behaviors in their home and community. Staff will educate, assist, and support families in the development and utilization of strategies and interventions to aid the individual and family overcome these challenges.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education, Training & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent Two (2) years experience providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities and/or behavioral issues. Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record Dependable transportation
Preferred Education, Training & Experience:
Experience with collaboration within a community System of Care. Experience utilizing Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to work independently and set schedule according to the needs of individuals and their family Ability to document completion as outlined by program guidelines Functional knowledge of basic computer applications (i.e. word-processing, e-mail) Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekend hours Ability to set aside personal attitudes and address individuals and their families in a clinical, professional manner Ability to be sensitive and respectful of cultural/values/lifestyle differences in families Ability to maintain professional boundaries Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully; in collaboration with individuals in the agency and community.
SALARY:
