Job Description
Lexington Center, the largest provider of outpatient and residential substance use disorder services in the Hudson Valley, is seeking a full-time counselor for its Co-location Unit within the Dutchess County Department of Community and Family Services (DC-DCFS), 60 Market Street, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. Duties include screening, assessment, order and administer drug toxicology testing, make referrals and ensure linkage with other service providers, and provide training in substance abuse issues for the DC-DCFS Case Management staff . Our Co-location works extensively and exclusively with community members and their families receiving services with Dutchess County CPS, the Preventive or Foster Care Department. Must have a valid CASAC or NYS License a behavioral health field (LMSW/LMHC) . Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm schedule. Accompanying the Case Worker for visitation with in the client's home sometimes required. Lexington offers an excellent benefit package which at present includes an Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield health insurance where the deductible and copays are paid by Lexington.
