Job Description

RISE Housing and Support Services is seeking a licensed professional to join the clinic treatment team at the Saratoga County Mental Health Outpatient Treatment Clinic. The ideal candidate will be able to provide high-quality mental health services to children, adolescents, families, and adults in both an admission setting and in response to a psychiatric crisis. Crisis Response Specialist:

Overview of Job Responsibilities:
Responds to requests for services and referrals, including initial response and screening/assessment, gathering clinical documentation, and prioritizing high risk or complex needs of individuals Designates the appropriate level of care, assigns and schedules initial appointments with clinical staff, monitors admissions, conducts follow-up Acts as a liaison between the Clinic and other agencies, facilitates referrals to appropriate agencies as indicated Manages telephone and walk-in crisis intervention and performs associated triage duties Presents on behalf of programs to promote awareness and elicit new referrals Complies with all relevant regulations governing the program To qualify, you must have: Licensure in New York State as a Registered Professional Nurse; OR Possession of a Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related Human Services field, and licensure in New York State as an LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, LMFT, or LCAT (•
Note:
Possession of a Limited Permit to practice as an LMSW or Limited Permit in the professions of mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, creative arts therapy may be considered) At least two years of direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting Excellent organizational skills, follow-up, and follow-through; strong team player High standards of professional ethics Professional communication skills with an ability to interface with a large number of professionals across disciplines and settings Our shared belief system in areas such as empathy, professionalism, dedication, compassion, respect, and inclusion Clearance with all relevant background checks as per RISE policies and governing regulations A vehicle, valid NY State Driver's License, and a driving record acceptable to the RISE automotive program are required
