Job Description

Provide individual, family, and group mental health services in the school setting Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations to identify student needs Deliver crisis intervention and stabilization services as needed Provide brief therapeutic interventions and ongoing psychotherapy when indicated Coordinate referrals and linkages to community-based programs and resources Collaborate with families to support treatment goals and student success Consult with teachers, administrators, and other educational staff regarding student mental health concerns Participate as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory requirements Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related behavioral health field Credentialed as a Qualified Healthcare Provider under the NYS Mental Hygiene Code (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMHC-P, or equivalent) One year of paid full-time post-master's experience in a child mental health setting preferred One year of field placement experience in a child mental health agency may be substituted Valid New York State Driver's License and access to reliable transportation for home and community visits Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Strong communication, assessment, and relationship-building skills One year of field placement experience in a child mental health agency may be substituted
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
