Overview Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. The Admissions Counselor will work on a Full-Time basis out of Helio Health's Inpatient Program. The schedule will be Tuesday- Saturday, 8:00am-4:30pm. In addition to Helio Health's comprehensive benefits package, Full-Time hires for this position are eligible for a Sign-On Incentive up to $1,500 depending on licensure!
Pay Rate:
$25.00- $26.50 per hour. Responsibilities Maintain a case load of patients seeking treatment from the effects of substance use and/or mental health disorders as needed. Perform essential counseling responsibilities including screening, intake and orientation, assessment, evaluation and intervention, treatment planning, referrals, crisis intervention, counseling, patient education, case management, reporting and record keeping. Participate in program, administrative and clinical committees as assigned. Relate effectively with staff, clients, and community while upholding confidentiality requirements. Answer phones and review referrals. Manage the bed board. Supervise non-clinical staff. Provide group coverage as needed. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required, associates or bachelors preferred. CASAC-T required or CASAC-P eligible. CASAC- Intern. Equivalent alternative combination of education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirements. Knowledge of addiction/recovery, behavioral health, self-help group process and principles of counseling. Proficiency with basic computer applications.
