School Based Therapist - Norwayne Schools

A School-Based Therapist with Encompass Christian Counseling partners with school officials to provide support and mental health and case management services to students and families at assigned schools. This part-time (build case-load to FT) position is located in the Norwayne School System in Wayne County, Ohio.

CEUs Requirements :

Bachelor's or Master's level Social Worker (LSW) - Master's degree strongly preferred - or Master's level Counselor (LPC), with independent licensure preferred (LISW or LPCC, respectively). Experience working with students and families strongly preferred.

Responsibilities :

Adhere to CCHO's statement of faith and code of conduct. TEAM first. Provide individual and/or family mental health counseling and appropriate and effective evidence-based therapeutic interventions according to the client's treatment plan. Complete MHAs, including accurate mental health diagnoses. Complete treatment plans (ITPs) in collaboration with client. Complete timely and well-written documentation. Progress notes should be completed and signed daily, or within 24 hours for billing purposes. Participate in Peer/case review, supervision, and other quality improvement activities.
