Job Description

Job Summary Palmentera & Associates, Inc. is a cooperative group of practitioners committed to facilitating the healing of the interrelated dimensions of thought, feeling, body, and spirit. We foster self-acceptance in warm, nurturing, and safe therapeutic connections. The uniqueness of all individuals is embraced. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated psychotherapist with expertise working with elementary-aged children to join our team. We are a thriving comprehensive private practice seeking compassionate, down-to-earth clinicians to provide psychological services. We serve children, adolescents, adults, couples, families and the elderly, as well as provide assessments from two office locations: Oberlin and North Royalton. Duties Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs Provide therapy sessions utilizing various modalities including individual, couples, and family therapy. Implement behavior management strategies to assist clients in achieving their therapeutic goals. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for case management and integrated care approaches. Address gender issues counseling as needed to support diverse client backgrounds. Requirements Doctorate in Psychology, or a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution. Valid independent licensure as a Psychotherapist or equivalent credential in Ohio. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. A commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in psychotherapy.

$91.00 - $98.00 per hour
