Job Description

Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor - Tiffin, Ohio Highlife Recovery is seeking a Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor to join our Tiffin clinical team. This position is appropriate for candidates with active Ohio licensure as an
LCDC II, LCDC
III, or LSW . The counselor will provide substance use disorder and behavioral health services in an outpatient treatment setting. This may include biopsychosocial assessments, group counseling, individual counseling, treatment planning, documentation, and coordination with other members of the clinical team.

Responsibilities:
Conduct biopsychosocial assessments for clients entering treatment. Provide individual and group counseling services for clients receiving outpatient substance use disorder and/or behavioral health treatment. Facilitate counseling groups focused on recovery, relapse prevention, coping skills, motivation for treatment, emotional regulation, and life stability. Complete clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Assist with treatment planning, treatment plan reviews, and discharge planning. Support clients working through substance use, recovery, accountability, legal, employment, housing, and family-related concerns. Coordinate with case management, medical, and administrative staff as needed. Maintain professional boundaries and follow ethical, regulatory, and agency standards. Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and quality improvement efforts as assigned.
Qualifications:
Active Ohio
LCDC II, LCDC
III, or LSW license required. Experience in substance use disorder or behavioral health treatment preferred. Ability to facilitate counseling groups preferred. Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work as part of a clinical team. Familiarity with ASAM, treatment planning, Medicaid documentation standards, and outpatient levels of care is helpful.
Schedule:
Full-time preferred. Some evening availability may be required based on client and program needs.

Pay:
$22.00 - $29.00 per hour
