Full-Time Join Our Team Are you passionate about helping individuals overcome substance use and mental health challenges? We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and clinically skilled Individual Counselor to join our multidisciplinary treatment team. Our counselors play a vital role in providing evidence-based, trauma-informed care while helping clients build the skills necessary to achieve lasting recovery. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through individual counseling, group facilitation, family interventions, care coordination, and treatment planning in a collaborative clinical environment. Required Qualifications Applicants must possess one of the following active Ohio licenses in good standing: Licensed Social Worker (LSW) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor II (LCDC II) Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor III (LCDC III) Additional requirements include: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Human Services, or a related behavioral health field Valid Ohio driver's license with reliable transportation Ability to successfully pass all required background screenings Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification Crisis Prevention and De-escalation training Experience working with individuals experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders Essential Responsibilities Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and ongoing clinical evaluations Develop individualized treatment plans and complete treatment plan reviews Provide individual, group, and family counseling services Utilize Trauma-Informed Care principles in all client interactions Coordinate care with internal treatment teams and external providers Complete clinical documentation accurately and within established timeframes Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and organizational documentation standards Complete billing documentation as required Participate in case consultations, treatment team meetings, and discharge planning Maintain an audit-ready clinical record Meet established productivity expectations Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 regulations Stay current with evidence-based practices through continuing education and professional development The Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who: Demonstrates empathy, professionalism, and strong ethical standards Thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment Possesses excellent time management and organizational skills Is confident managing multiple priorities while maintaining quality care Has experience working with diverse populations affected by mental health and substance use disorders Is committed to continuous learning and professional growth Why Join Our Team?
