Position Introduction:
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students and their community by joining a compassionate, client-centered team dedicated to improving the mental and emotional well-being of students taking courses on the OU-Tulsa Campus. Student Counseling Services is searching for a candidate to join our Tulsa Campus team, with the opportunity to support students facing a variety of challenges, including academic success related concerns like time management, study skills, and imposter syndrome, addiction and substance abuse, stress, family and relationship concerns, self-esteem, and other mental health needs. Through counseling, advocacy, and collaboration, this role helps empower students on their path to degree attainment at OU-Tulsa. In addition to direct counseling services, this position contributes to the ongoing improvement of clinical programs and patient care strategies within the Student Counseling Services team on the OU Health and OU-Tulsa Campuses. The selected candidate will also support student wellness outreach programming on the Tulsa Campus that focuses on the six dimensions of wellness - physical, intellectual, emotional, social, occupational, and spiritual. Further, this team member will support program and service evaluation efforts and help ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards. Required Education and Experience:
Master's Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, Human Relations, or related field. 24 months of professional Counseling experience.
Required Certifications and Licenses:
Licensed Master of Social Work, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Work, OR Licensed Psychologist or ability to obtain one of the aforementioned licenses within 18 months of hire date. Hiring Contingent Upon a
