About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and recovery-focused Integrated Residential Counselor to provide substance use disorder treatment, case management, and peer recovery support within a residential treatment setting. This role combines clinical counseling services with recovery mentorship to support patients throughout treatment, discharge planning, and long-term recovery. The Integrated Residential Counselor works as part of a multidisciplinary team to help individuals build recovery skills, access community resources, and achieve lasting wellness. What You'll Do (Please note this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and duties) Facilitate psychoeducational, relapse prevention, and recovery-focused groups Conduct screenings, intake procedures, and treatment documentation Provide individual counseling and support treatment planning Deliver recovery-oriented peer support and recovery mentoring Assist patients with housing, employment, healthcare, transportation, and community resource connections Support patient engagement in treatment, recovery activities, and residential programming Collaborate with counselors, medical staff, and treatment team members to coordinate care Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) Participate in discharge planning and continuing care coordination What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED, required . Current CADC I, CADC-R, or equivalent credential in good standing, required . Ability to obtain Oregon Certified Recovery Mentor (CRM) credential within 12 months of hire Valid Oregon Driver's License, required . Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills, required . Experience in substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, peer support, case management, or related human services, preferred . Knowledge of recovery-oriented care, trauma-informed practices, and community resources, preferred . Ability to pass a background check and drug screen (Serenity Lane is a Cannabis THC-free workplace).
