Job Description

COUNSELOR JOB DESCRIPTION QUALIFICATIONS
Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling Pennsylvania license (LPC or LCSW)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Counseling clinical services: Conduct client intake appointments and determine appropriate treatment planning. Conduct individual, group (couples and conjoint) counseling with clients to address mental health needs. Support a collaborative, trauma-informed, and biblically informed workplace. Appropriately document the provision of counseling services. Ensure timely and accurate reporting for audits and insurance billing. Collaborate with outside providers, schools, and community resources to advocate for client needs, coordinate wraparound support, and provide referrals to additional services as needed. Ensure HIPAA compliance for all records. Report to and cooperation with Executive Director/Counselor including attending and participating in staff meetings as called by the Executive Director. Attend trainings, workshops, and continuing education to maintain licensure. Bill Insurance Other duties assigned by Executive Director
