Family Support Specialist

Lifesteps, a local non-profit agency, is seeking a full-time Family Support Specialist (FSS) based in Beaver, PA . The Family Support Specialist will coordinate enrollment and provide services to mothers referred by Children and Youth Services (CYS) in Beaver County. This position will create and update a Plan of Safe Care in collaboration with the mother; assess infant s safety and monitor infant developmental stages; and offer guidance, education and referrals to parents as appropriate in order to achieve positive support outcomes for each family receiving services. This is a full-time, Monday thru Friday position, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, with occasional evening hours based on program need.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

Bachelor s Degree in Human Services or related field and two (2) years working in a Human Services profession Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to articulate information to a diverse audience Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Current driver s license and the ability to travel for business utilizing personal vehicle

Preferred:
