Job Description

Join Our TeamLenape Valley Foundation is proud to expand its crisis services with the launch of its second Crisis Residential Program, to be housed within the brand-new Bright Path Center. Located in Doylestown, PA, the newest addition to our Crisis Residential Programming will serve both adults and children. As a Mental Health Professional on the Crisis Residential Team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals and families during moments of acute psychiatric crisis, providing stabilization, structure, and compassionate care in a shortterm residential setting. This is a unique opportunity to join an innovative, growing program that builds on LVFs longstanding commitment to evidencebased, recoveryoriented mental health services while helping shape care delivery for a broader population from the ground up.

Preferred:
Experience with Crisis ServicesValid drivers license and ability to travel within Bucks CountyMay be required to work during emergencies, including inclement weatherProficiency in Electronic Health Records and basic computer skillsAbility to meet physical requirements of the role, with or without accommodation Your RoleAs a Mental Health Professional on our Crisis Residential team, you will support adults and children experiencing acute psychiatric crises in a short-term, recovery-focused residential setting.

Crisis Stabilization & SupportProvide crisis stabilization, de-escalation, and therapeutic support in the least restrictive settingMonitor guests for changes in mood, behavior, or safety risk and respond appropriatelyMaintain vigilance and respond to emergencies to ensure guest and site safetyConduct scheduled check-ins and support crisis stabilization goalsClinical Care & Treatment PlanningComplete intakes, assessments, consents, and crisis/safety plansSupport individualized treatment goals and discharge planningProvide ongoing assessment, crisis counseling, problem-solving, and skill-buildingAdvocate for guests rights, preferences, and recovery goalsGroups & Therapeutic ProgrammingFacilitate psychoeducational and skills-based group sessionsSet group agendas, encourage participation, and foster therapeutic communicationEducate guests and supports on treatment interventions and expected outcomesCollaboration & CoordinationCommunicate clinical observations with the treatment teamCoordinate referrals and collaborate with families, community providers, and supportsWork closely with clinical staff on ongoing evaluation of treatment progressDocumentation & Program ResponsibilitiesComplete timely, accurate documentation in the Electronic Health RecordAssist with service coordination and aftercare planningSupport facilities operations and milieu safety as neededAbout Lenape Valley FoundationSince 1958, Lenape Valley Foundation (LVF) has been a trusted non-profit provider of essential human services in Bucks and Montgomery Counties.
