Founded in Mansfield, PA, we are committed to expanding access to high-quality addictions care while allowing individuals to remain rooted in their homes, families, and communities. Position Overview We are seeking compassionate, motivated Addictions Counselors to join our outpatient clinical team. This role provides individual counseling, substance use evaluations, treatment planning, and recovery support for individuals experiencing substance use and behavioral addictions (e.g., gambling, gaming), with availability to work in our Knoxville and Mansfield locations. We strongly encourage applications from both early-career professionals and experienced clinicians. Meadowlark provides supervision, mentorship, and professional development in a highly supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Provide outpatient individual counseling using evidence-informed, strengths-based approaches Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, SUD evaluations, and ASAM level-of-care determinations Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with DDAP and HIPAA Participate in clinical supervision, staff meetings, and professional development Collaborate with referral sources and community partners (e.g., probation, CYS, medical providers) Maintain ethical standards, professional boundaries, and confidentiality Support a trauma-informed, recovery-oriented environment Provide services at both Mansfield and Knoxville locations as needed Core Competencies Strong empathy, active listening, and interpersonal presence Ability to build rapport with individuals across stages of change Clinical documentation accuracy and regulatory awareness Professional boundaries and ethical decision-making Emotional regulation and basic crisis response skills Cultural humility and trauma-informed lens Team collaboration and accountability Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in a human services field Interest in addictions counseling and professional growth Ability to learn DDAP documentation and ASAM criteria Basic technology proficiency (EHR, documentation platforms, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.) Strong time management and reliability Reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications Experience in SUD, behavioral health, or crisis settings Familiarity with ASAM, DSM-5-TR, MI, CBT, and/or trauma-informed care Certification or licensure (CADC, CAADC, LSW, LCSW, LPC, etc.) Experience in DDAP-licensed settings CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Why Join Meadowlark?
