Job Description

We are seeking a Therapist
  • Master's Level, reporting directly to our Clinical Supervisor, to provide appropriate treatment for each resident's individual mental health needs.
Responsibilities include creating and implementing treatment plans, performing assessments, conducting individual and group counseling sessions, and maintaining case file documentation. Compensation is commensurate with experience level. If seeking licensure, we can provide clinical supervision hours. This is a flexible daytime work schedule, with expectations of 1-2 weeknight swing shifts (12-8pm) and 1 rotating Saturday shift (12-8pm) per month. Clear Vision is a 25-bed residential treatment facility for adolescent females (ages 12-18) adjudicated dependent and/or delinquent by 30+ counties in PA through Juvenile Probation and/or Children & Youth Services. Our 6+ month program is a safe and structured environment with 24/7 staff supervision that provides individual, group, and family counseling services for youth to treat their extensive trauma history. We are led by a Licensed (LCSW) Clinical Director with 20+ years in mental & behavioral health and certified in Trauma-Informed Care and psychotherapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Job Duties & Responsibilities Direct Care:
Supervise residents during all phases of the day-to-day routine, including all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and adherence to the program schedule. Promote appropriate social interactions and behaviors within the community. Conduct expectation and process meetings with residents Orchestrate resident group sessions and coordinate recreational activities. Facilitate positive family involvement (family counseling, telephone calls, letters) Employ Crisis Intervention, Safe Crisis Management, and basic First Aid Provide transportation as needed in company vehicles. Serve as Shift/Team Leader as needed.
Clinical:
Create, implement, and update the Individual Service Plans (ISP) and Individualized Treatment Plans (ITP) for all youth residents, as directed by Clinical Supervisor/Director. Create, implement, and update Health & Safety Plans, Crisis Identification & Intervention Plans, and Behavioral Modification Plans with clear obtainable and measurable goals/objectives to address specific needs and diagnoses of the youth residents. Monitor and report youth residents' behavioral health and progress within the program, including but not limited to: crisis intervention plans, court summaries, intake reports, aftercare plans, incident reports, ISP reports, and related documentation. Conceptualize, plan, and facilitate the individual counseling, group therapy, and family counseling sessions. Actively participate in Clinical Team Meetings.
Other:
Act as the company liaison to the referring agency through ongoing communication with the Children & Youth caseworker or Juvenile Probation Officer and active participation in the youth's court proceedings. Complete and pass a Department-approved medications administration course (see PA regulation: 3800.188), and maintain certification to oversee resident med distributions. Complete 30 hours of state-mandated training within 120 days after the date of hire, and 40 hours of training annually thereafter. Trainings shall include company policies & procedures, fire safety, first aid & CPR, SCM, crisis intervention, behavior management, suicide prevention, trauma-informed care, and more. Demonstrate professionalism in every undertaking, including all forms of internal and external communication (emails, calls, texts, logbook, etc.). Must be able to perform the physical duties required for Safe Crisis Management Other duties and paperwork as assigned by supervisors/management Qualifications Required
  • A Master's degree from an accredited college or university, including Master's in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Family Studies, or related Human Services field; OR a Bachelor's degree AND currently enrolled in a Master's program. Preferred
  • 2 years experience in Mental Health Field, and working with adolescents in a residential or partial hospitalization program Preferred
  • Training and/or certification in trauma-informed care, with experience in various treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, IFS, and more. Required
  • Must pass Child Abuse Clearance, Federal Background Check (FBI), and State Criminal Record Check; proof of highest level of education The interview process includes a 15-minute phone screening, verification of professional references, and a 30+ minute on-site interview with the Director and Clinical Supervisor.
