Job Description
Join our team at Human Services Center! This is a
NIGHT SHIFT
position. (7PM-7:30AM) We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Shift-Crisis Worker to join our team. This role is essential in providing immediate support and intervention to individuals experiencing crises during nighttime hours. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and crisis management, demonstrating the ability to assess and address the needs of clients effectively.Duties:
Provide crisis intervention services to individuals in distress, utilizing effective communication and de-escalation techniques. Conduct thorough assessments to identify the needs of clients and develop appropriate intervention strategies. Maintain accurate medical documentation and case notes for each client interaction. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for clients. Implement behavioral therapy techniques as needed to assist clients in managing their crises. Collect data on client interactions and outcomes to contribute to ongoing research and program development. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical counseling skills.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field isREQUIRED.
New graduates are welcome! Proven experience in crisis intervention, mental health counseling, or related fields, preferred but training will be provided! Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly. Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Familiarity with behavioral therapy techniques and addiction counseling is a plus. Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development within the mental health field.Job Type:
