Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Supervising Physician to lead and oversee clinical operations within our behavioral health and psychiatric services. In this vital role, you will provide expert medical supervision, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and support a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Your leadership will help shape treatment strategies, enhance patient outcomes, and uphold the highest standards of medical practice in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on diverse populations, including children, adults, and geriatrics, through innovative mental health interventions. Responsibilities Provide medical oversight and supervision for licensed clinicians, including psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and nursing staff Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments across various age groups and clinical settings Develop and approve treatment plans incorporating psychopharmacology, psychotherapy (including psychodynamic therapy), cognitive behavioral therapy, and crisis management strategies Ensure all medical documentation complies with HIPAA regulations and accurately reflects patient care activities in electronic medical records Lead intake processes for new patients, coordinating care plans tailored to individual needs such as developmental disabilities or PTSD care Oversee medication management, including prescribing psychotropic medications in accordance with best practices and state laws Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support inpatient, outpatient, telehealth, and clinic-based services while maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality care Qualifications Valid medical license with board certification in Psychiatry or relevant specialty with post-residency experience in behavioral health Demonstrated expertise in pediatric psychiatry, geriatrics, addiction counseling, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable Proven experience in hospital or inpatient settings along with outpatient clinic experience Strong knowledge of mental health counseling techniques such as psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and crisis management Familiarity with telehealth platforms and delivering remote psychiatric services effectively Excellent skills in patient care, medical documentation, data collection, and diagnostic evaluation using current medical terminology Ability to manage complex cases involving PTSD, substance use disorders, or behavioral health crises while ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards Join us as a Licensed Supervising Physician to lead compassionate mental health care initiatives that transform lives.
