Job Description

•Currently seeking a Mental Health Professional to join our team in a part-time capacity. This role will service both Wind Gap and East offices. Under supervision of the Outpatient Leadership team, the incumbent of this position provides psychotherapy to children, adults and families in the Outpatient Behavioral Health Program. This position will maintain a caseload of 15 - 18 clients and provide therapy services for up to 15 hours per week. Psychotherapists must strive for the delivery of best clinical practices in the field and adhere to all regulatory expectations of a licensed outpatient psychiatric clinic. This includes timely completion of all documentation as required by policy and by external standards and maintaining an open line of communication with the departmental leadership team.
Pay Rate:
$28.00/hr. for therapy sessions• and $14.00 / hr. for non-direct service work

RESPONSIBILITIES
Meets with assigned clients in individual, group, collateral or family sessions and intake appointments. It is expected that the incumbent in this role spend 80% of their time in direct service activities with clients and the other 20% in non-direct work furthering their activities with their clients. Maintains professional competence by attending mandated trainings as well as conferences, workshops and related educational programs; provides training information to the Human Resources Department for tracking purposes. Maintains contact with referral sources, particularly in the case of internal referrals. Tracks client progress using provided tools and maintains the medical records of all assigned clients in our electronic medical record system. Monitors client treatment plans, ensuring that an active treatment plan is in place prior to delivering of mental health services. Completes all required documentation in the electronic medical record. Ensures progress notes are completed within forty-eight hours of each scheduled appointment.
QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a graduate degree from an accredited college or university in a generally recognized clinical discipline in which the degree program includes a clinical practicum within a license eligible program.
Bilingual:
Spanish strongly preferred. S/he must demonstrate an understanding of managed-care environments and willingness to provide treatment and work within that system, including meeting productivity requirements. S/he must be conversant in standard computer applications including an electronic health records system and proficient in written documentation. The incumbent must also practice sensitivity to the cultural and socioeconomic differences present among the Agency's defined-service population as well as adhere to the Trauma-informed Care principles practiced by the Agency.
