$40 per completed telehealth session. Typically sessions can last an hour. Position Summary We are seeking independently licensed counselors to provide remote solution-focused counseling support to veterans, service members, and their families. This is a telehealth-only contractor opportunity for licensed providers who want flexible, mission-driven work supporting individuals and families connected to military life. Counselors will provide brief, non-medical, problem-solving support for everyday life concerns such as stress, relationships, parenting, relocation, deployment-related adjustment, family concerns, and grief/loss. Work Arrangement 100% remote / telehealth only Flexible contractor schedule. No in-person office requirement. No insurance billing. Licenses Accepted Applicants must hold a current, valid, unrestricted license authorizing independent practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. Accepted licenses include:
Licensed Professional Counselor:
LPC, LCPC, LPCC, LMHC, or equivalent Licensed Clinical Social Worker:

PhD or PsyD with active state licensure Responsibilities Provide secure telehealth counseling sessions to eligible participants. Deliver short-term, solution-focused support for stress, relationships, parenting, family transitions, deployment-related adjustment, relocation, and grief/loss. Screen participants to determine whether their needs are appropriate for brief non-medical counseling support. Refer or warm-transfer participants when needs fall outside the program scope, including clinical treatment needs, safety concerns, or higher levels of care. Complete required session documentation accurately and on time. Follow all confidentiality, privacy, mandated reporting, and duty-to-warn requirements. Maintain active, unrestricted licensure and notify the company of any licensure or disciplinary changes. Requirements Current unrestricted independent behavioral health license in one or more U.S. states, territories, commonwealths, or DC. Master's degree or higher in counseling, social work, psychology, marriage/family therapy, or a related behavioral health field. U.S. citizenship. English fluency required. Comfort providing services through secure telehealth platforms. Ability to complete onboarding, credentialing, background check, and required training. Knowledge of or sensitivity to veterans, service members, military families, deployment stress, relocation, and family transitions. Preferred Qualifications Multiple active state licenses. Prior experience supporting veterans, service members, military families, EAP participants, or government-related behavioral health programs. Evening or weekend availability. Experience with brief intervention, solution-focused counseling, adjustment issues, family stress, parenting support, grief/loss, and relationship concerns. Bilingual English/Spanish. Pay:
